Join us for an immersive therapeutic experience filled with yoga, meditation, breathwork and pottery.
The lovely Sabrina, from Asana Tribe, will start the Mini Mindfulness Retreat off by taking us through Yoga Flow, Meditation, Yoga Nidra (sleep meditation) as well as Pranayama (breathwork). Sabrina’s teachings are welcomed to all persons, as someone who does not believe in levels but rather able bodies, which gives everyone the opportunity to share the practice and energy together. Her classes are filled with a gentle calm, soft strength and light humour, creating a safe and brave space. As each individual will have their own experience with the yoga and meditation we will share in a connective, serene and mindful energy that we can use to fully immerse into the experience of creation and creativity.
We will then move into a fully guided pottery session which will allow you to express your creativity by working with the earth. Our goal at Tarryn & Craig Ceramics is to provide a calm, relaxing and unrushed environment so that you have the most therapeutic and stress-free experience. For us, it isn't about creating for the sake of it, but rather being mindful and present so that you are able to create meaningful pieces that will last you a lifetime. We believe that being surrounded by the RIGHT energy is what makes an experience memorable. This is why we focus on providing good, happy, positive ENERGY so that you leave the retreat feeling amazing, inspired and energized.

09:30am (30 - 45 min) - Yoga Flow & Meditation
A beginner friendly yoga asana movement practice to connect mind and body to breath, releasing tension and any tightness that builds up from everyday life.
10:15am (20 – 30 min) - Yoga Nidra (sleep meditation)
Practiced lying in Savasana (on your back) with the support and comfort or pillows and blankets.
10:45am (30 min) - Break for light refreshments
11:15am (10 – 15 min) - Pranayama/ breathwork
A breathing exercise to enter a blissful state and harness your creative energy.
11:30am (2 hours) - Pottery Session
A therapeutic fully guided pottery session where you will connect mind and body while working with the earth.

ABOUT THE POTTERY SESSION:
During the pottery session of the retreat you will learn how to make your own ceramics from clay. We will show you how to assemble your piece, followed by how to sculpt and attach clay to your ceramics to give them character. Pottery tools will be provided, and we will guide you on choosing the best tool to use as well as using your fingers and hands to sculpt your pieces. During this process you will learn how to manipulate the clay to create your desired piece. At the end of the session, you will have a deeper love and appreciation for pottery, and you will walk away feeling relaxed and restored after disconnecting and being creative.

Yoga and Meditation – Yoga Mat, blankets, pillows, socks and a warm jersey
Pottery – Pinterest is a great place to get inspiration for your pieces. You can simply just bring some inspiration pics on your phone.
